A Quiet Practice

This blog is a place for small moments.

I write haiku as a way of noticing — the weather, tiredness, early mornings, restless nights, and the ordinary spaces in between. When I can’t get my camera out, haiku becomes another way to pause and pay attention.

Most of these poems are written at the edges of the day: before work, after long shifts, in quiet houses, or during unsettled nights. They aren’t polished statements or attempts at perfection — just brief records of how a moment felt.

Writing haiku helps me slow things down. It gives shape to experiences that might otherwise pass unnoticed, and it lets me leave them here instead of carrying them around.

This blog isn’t about growth or audience. It simply exists — a small collection of moments, set down and shared with the wider world.
